Black MageThis is the classic Black Mage job. Every FF game has a black mage or some sort, Vivi and Lulu to be exact in FFIX and FFX. This dress allows you to use powerful black magic, including variations of Fire, Thunder, Water, and Blizzard.

Black mage is cool!

Wow! I gotta say! this dress sphere beats all the fiends butts! its really easy to master and easy to use! and my fav elements to use would have to be wate and blizzard magic,cause it looke so pretty and it usually hurts too! lol,So I gotta say its a very awesome dress sphere and mkaes the game easy! but later in the game you get a garment grid that enables you to use black magic that you've learned from the black mage! so you can use black magic in any dress sphere! its best to use a dress sphere that has good magic though! more magic! the better magic! lol!

Under Estimating Things

For This Dress Sphere I Have One Word : Wring

I majorly under-estimated this thing, im happy as ^-^
but the thing is when i use the two - bloodlust and wring - together, i die real easy.. is it coz i used them both together?

You can find it in the bushes in besaid between the shop and the other camp

how does one get all the "lores"
white, black, warrior, i already have bushido but i cant figure out where or when to get them and i really need them bc my girls kinda
suk and paines already completely finished white mage but i cant do anything else bc we dotn have the white magic lore, so like, where do you get it and in what chapter? just the white lore, thats all
i need to know?!

How to Obtain Lore's:

In ch.1 you must go to macalania, and find O'aka. You must then, when you find him, agree to hide him on your airship and pay of his debt. Throughout the game you have time to pay off his debt by buying items, but its best that you pay him off compleatly by ch.3

Then in Ch.3 you have to complete the sidequest in macalania travel agency, by defeating all five rounds of battle without running away or dying. Then you can enter the travel agency and talk to the al bhed guy. He'll give you the beserker dressphere, and all of the al bhed will leavet he agency. (except for the dead guy)

Then in Ch.5 you can buy lore's from O'aka in the macalania travel agency.

Fayth: "Yes, you're a dream of the fayth. You, your father, your mother, everyone. All dreams. And if the fayth stop dreaming..."
Tidus: "No! So what if I'm a dream! I... I like being here."
Fayth: "We've been dreaming so long... we're tired."

Black mage isn't really useless

It isn't really that useless. There is a garment grid called Megiddo Garment grid (I'll tell you how to get it in a moment) It let's you cast Ultima. Which is a black mage ability (but you can't learn it) . Whoever doesnt know ultima, its this really cool ability where you cast non-elemantal damage to all the enemies. its like flare except......cooler. Now..... to get the Meggido Garment Grid, You must COMPLETLY explore every hole. Theres a hole that is easy to miss, its the Calm lands hole. After you COMLPETLY explored all the holes, you will get the meggido garment grid. COMPLETLY as in, until you reach the farplane. that goes for all holes.

HOW TO USE BLACK MAGIC WITHOUT BEING IN BLACK MAGE

THERE IS A GARMENT GRID CALLED "BLACK TABARD", THAT ALLOWS YOU TO USE ALL THE BLACK MAGIC ABILITIES LEARNED AS A BLACK MAGE. IT'S GOOD TO USE WHILE IN A WHITE MAGE OR SONGSTRESS DRESSPHERE, BECAUSE YOU CAN ATTACK TOO, INSTEAD JUST DANCING AND HEALING...

you could equip accessory
black-lore.
and have all you black mage abilities (including focus, blakc magic lvl.2 ect.)

Even if you use black lore or black tambard GG/Meggio GG you still cant use focus of mp absorb cause its like a speical, like if you use sword lore or pride of sword GG and your in gunner you cant use assalt or sential. Only swordplay abilities.

YOUR TOTTALLY WRONG!

If you lvl up your blackmage dressphere your spells get strong enough to take away about 5000 hp. The downside is, once they are that strong monsters get stronger but they are not tottally useless! They are very powerful dresspheres!

umm.
but think about it,
kogoro's magic can only do so many bits of magic.
a blakc mage has all forms of fire,ice,wate,and lightning.
not only that but you have black magiv lvl.1 & 2 wich makes casting so much easier.
there are also extra abilities like ultima,flare, and demi...
not only that but you can equip your blakc mage with white mage lore and vise versa
and have a Red Mage type of character (sorry ff3 reference) ...

you just cant do that type of thing with trainer...
unless you wanted to equip trainer with white & black mage lore...
but then your magic defense would be so strongly decreased thats there wouldtn be a point
