Thief

The basic skill of any thief is thievery and agility. Use this dress to steal items from your enemies. As this dress levels up, you will be able to steal increasingly rare and valuable items. Also, if you choose to attack, you'll do two hits of damage, one from each dagger.

^_^ This is the very best dress sphere of them all!!!!! just plain FANTASTIC!!!!
I use it the most and its looks good on everyone!! I recommend this dress sphere to everyone! as long as you are a thief you can kick any fiends butt!! you could steal hp,mp,items,and gil from any enemy!!
Yep thief is one of the best!!!!!!!!!!!

My Rikku

Up till i got my dark knight warrior, i had her as a theif, but her attacks wernt cutting it, but when i took her to dark knight, her attacks were strongers than paines in the same ds, but when paine is in warrior, its sronger, and yunas stronger than all of them, but shes the lowest level

it confusses me!!!!! :P not that its too hard to do that

Pilfer gil not very good!

Pilfer Gil isn't exactly the handiest move in the game. The best way to get gil is to use Random Reels in Lady Luck and try and get 3 7s. Sure it sounds like an impossible feat but it is easy when you pause the game as soon as ya see a 7. Also another way is to kill oversoulled monsters. First nab the item and gil and then kill it and you should get an item worth 3000 or 2500 gil.

Thief with Rikku Roxx

Well thief are not only good for stealing, double attacks are very good to, my last save (that got erased) that i got stuck on at those 3 sisters after Shiva, my thief did really good hits for its level - like 300 + 300
and some times if i boost her she did 450 + 500. thiefs are good if you use them in a strategic way.

I don't think it's the best dressphere but Rikku is the best one in it. I love it when Im poor how all I have to do is pifer gil.

pilfer gil?

when you're poor, use nab gil. don't know how to get? send a chocobo level 5 to bikanel desert. he'll run away but you can now dig in central expanse. keep digging there until you find "desert key". now go to camp in bikanel and open the locked chest. inside, there is the garment grid "horn of plenty", that has the gillionaire ability (doubles the gil earned after battles, the same with lady luck) and the auto-ability "nab gil", that deals normal damage to a single foe but also uses the pilfer gil from thief but the best: it doesn't consume MP and attacks. it can also be used to make songstress, black mage and white mage to attack.

It's not level 5!

That is not true!!! All you have to do is send a level 1 chocobo! There's no level requirements, but chocobo will automatically run away.
Now stop telling people it's level 5 forgotten!

i agree.
When you're in easy battles, its great to steal "artic winds", "flash bombs", "candle of lifes", "twin stars"
and other great items. There great for when you get alchemist because it gives you more items to mix.
I started of new game plus, with all ym saved items, and i had 99 of half the items including megalixers.

I also foudn that you can steal silver bracers from Leblanc at the beggining of the game, (right after Leblancs imposter concert)
